• Gaby Hernandez- Armed Orphan’s Next Fall Release!!!

  It’s been a while since you’ve heard from us here at Armed Orphan.  That’s because we’ve been spending hours upon hours trying to find our next artist- we’re picky!  So, after much delay, let us introduce our next Fall Release: GABY HERNANDEZ!!!
  

  Gaby’s sound is a perfect one for the Fall-Summer transition.  Breezy yet melancholic, it evokes the best elements of the season.  Produced by Carlos Nino (Build an Ark, The Life Force Trio) and Andres Renteria (Mia Doi Todd, Jose Gonzalez), the album is an organic collection of love songs, evoking such artists as Gal Costa, Sade, and Mazzy Star.
  

  Gaby’s debut album, entitled When Love, is due out on Armed Orphan September 23rd.  Stay tuned in the coming weeks for free tracks, release party info, album streams, and more!

  It is our hope that through this daily blog, as well as our podcasts and video blogs, you come to know us and our artists as friends, and establish a more personal relationship than you would with your average label.

  Armed Orphan is a label based around the seasons, which we believe allows our artists and their albums to show their fullest potential. We look forward to bringing you what we believe is a great lineup of music, and hope that you come to anticipate our releases as you would the first snowflake of winter or the first day at the beach in summer.
